The reason I opted to do these eye exercises (and believe that they would infact help my eyesight) is because of my faith in the body’s ability to heal itself.
I don’t believe in taking medicine too often or too quickly. Some folks run-off and take tablets as soon as they get sick. When I get sick, I take vitamin C and try to rest. This has worked for me. And I don’t get sick very often. I am of the opinion that taking medicine too often does more harm than good, because you are in effect building up a dependency on the medicine and thus weakening your bodies ability to heal itself (your immune system).
So too, with your eyesight, becoming too dependent on wearing glasses or contacts, does not give your eyes the opportunity to try and heal themselves. I only wish I knew about eye exercises a long time ago.

Welcome to the ImprovingMyVision blog. This blog is set up so that I can record my progress with using eye exercises to improve my vision. The blog would be updated at least once a week (more like twice a week). The website ImprovingMyEyesight.com was created as an accompaniment to this blog and provides information on:
- The eye and how it works
- Eye care
- Natural ways of improving your eyesight
I hope that my progress and eventual success with improving my eyesight would serve as encouragement for other people to try eye exercises as a natural alternative to the various surgeries available for improving vision.
William
