Hey Deon,

Apart from my eyes being more relaxed, I believe that there has been some slight improvement... or at least I feel that way...

Continue with the exercises....

I hope you see some significant improvements...

hows it going with your eyesight, I started doing eye exercises a few days ago. I bought the bates method book but it's not that user friendly. My eyes are -1.75 and the other one is -1.25. I'm just posting a comment because I wanted to know if you have been experiencing any positive things, other than the relaxed eyes, since you have been doing the exercises.

I don't know if I have achieved something or not yet I guess it's to early for that

Thanks for posting a comment.

That book seems interesting. If I do decide to purchase it... I'll let you know.

Take care, and much success to you.

Hi William,

One month ago I bought the book "Relearning to See: Improve Your Eyesight -- Naturally!" by Thomas R. Quackenbush and I think it's great.

I read it almost entirely in few days (500+ pages) and it's worth the money I've spent.

To me it's far more understandable that the original Bates' book and - very important - it's not about exercises, it's about habits that "normal" eyes naturally have and near/farsighted eyes have unlearned over time.

Have a look at it on amazon.com and consider the idea of buying it.

So far, I learned to move my eyes more smoothly (what Bates called "shifting") and I'm starting noticing details popping up when I "sketch" (a Quackenbush's synonym for "shift") far objects like windows or roofs of buildings. I hope it's a first good achievement.

Best regards,
Alex
