I Have Made The Appointment With The Optician

Well I have made an appointment with the optician. This is so that I can check to see if there have been any improvement in my eyesight.

The appointment is next week Friday ( 25th August). This is the soonest appointment I could have gotten.

    Good luck at the optometrist.

Here are websites you might be interested in:

    http://www.central-fixation.com

There’s a forum at the first site for people who are trying to improve their vision.

These websites are more about good vision habits and releasing tension in your eyes, following the Bates methods, as opposed to doing “eye exercises” per se. I find that for me personally, the Bates method is working better than the Vision For Life exercises.

Thanks Joanna… for the encouragement and for the links to the sites. I’ll check them out.

How is your progress comming along?

My nearsightedness is severe enough that I can measure, with a ruler, where my clarity distance ends. Before I started any exercises, it was at 18 cm (I measure it from the corner of my eye to a card with small print). After doing the Vision For Life exercises, I would be able to push it out to 19-19.5cm by the end of the night, but the next morning when I woke up it would be back at 18cm again. Once I started the Bates methods, I was able to get it to 21cm of clarity, and when I wake up in the mornings I can see clearly at 19.5cm (evenings around 20.5 – 21cm average). My eyes, neck, shoulders all feel a lot less tense nowadays, and I sleep better at night. I also have an appointment with an optometrist soon too, in about 2 weeks, to get some computer glasses. I’m thinking that it’ll be lot easier to improve my vision once I’m using those glasses instead of my current ones.

I’ll let you know how that goes.

It nice of you to share your experience on the blog. I wish more people would do the same…. it’s one of the reasons I created the blog.

Anyways, good luck at the optometrist.

How did the optitions go? I’ve also started the vision for life program and i think my eyes have gotten a tiny bit better but i am not sure. It would be good motivation for me if someones eyesight has definitely improved from it. Good luck! This blog has made me do the exercises (nearly) daily.

I have heard this rebuild your vision program but Im skeptical to try it.
Why dont you ask your doc opt if he has ever heard of if or why isnt this program more kown why isnt there CNN news about it ,you know give it credibility. is it because he/she cant make money on it like the website claims or is that very same factor that the wesite uses to entice to buy.
    I dont kown.
Sorry If I sound pessamistic ;)
Anyway I’ll eventually end up try it hust to get it out of my system
Keep us updated cus if it works ill put those opts out of bussines:)
