Just A Small Update…

Hey, this is just a small update to let everyone know that I have been doing the exercises… about twice a week. However, I haven’t realised any significant improvement, but my eyes are more relaxed.

Will keep in touch…

    Hi,

I am quite happy that you have created this website as it has been both interesting and encouraging.

However, as I have been reading your situation as you post your updates each month, I would like to advice you on how you can improve better than currently.

Firstly, you must exercise daily and not two times a week as that is not enough to make a good progress. Secondly, you do not need to do all the exercises on the same day, you can do half of it where your personal limits apply. And do the full exercise on another day, such as the weekends, etc.

Thirdly, wear weaker glasses/contact lenses as that is very, very important in having a good progress, but be careful to wear correct prescription when driving, etc. Forthly, a good diet is crucial in the development of your eye muscles. If you cannot have a good diet, look for supplements that will help improve your eyesight such as bilberry and lutein, etc.

If you follow the above method, I can assure you that your eyesight will improve. But remember at the beginning, they improve faster and then eventually slowly as the muscles start to reach their actual strength capability and build from there.

It is possible to reach 20/20 eye strength. All you need is dedication and faith. It takes about three to six months to improve by 0.25 diopetor, maybe more. But never give up, you will have no regrets in five years time.

Wishing you all the best and good luck !

I highly agree with everything you said Tariq. My problem too is that I can’t obtain glasses of a weaker perscription. I did definately see improvements, but it was a real hassel to do everything without weaker glasses.
I feel that getting a weaker perscription is definately a must..as well as a good diet. When I look back to when I first needed glasses..I really can’t remember myself eating a very nutritional diet. My brother and I were both heavy computer users.. I ate junk, he always ate fruits and vegetables… and then I ended up to be the one who got myopia. So, perhaps that had a slight bit to do with it.

    Hi Mike,

instead of obtaining glasses of a weaker prescription (I already had them, actually) I took advantage of contact lenses. Daily contact lenses are quite common where I live and I started using them instead of montly ones.

For what concerns the crucial issue of being consistent in practising exercises, I’m convinced that it’s very boring to do them and think that maybe there’s some deeper psychological/emotional block that prevents us to solve eyesight problems faster. Anyway, I’m working on that. In the meanwhile, I found interesting testimonies reading comments on this page:

    Hi folks,

I just found a way to help me exercise. I’m talking about a part of the eyesight restoring practice: breathing.

I just recorded myself breathing calmly e consciously. I used a microphone and my computer. I’ve taken one complete breath and played it in loop mode. I’m listening to it right now as well. It’s gorgeous because the more I listen to it the more my mind comes back to be aware of it and I let the habit of healthly breath grow.

I’m sure this can be also useful for other kind of healing, as a good breath is the one of a healthy person, so… well, I think that listening to it while working at my pc will be much better for my whole body and my eyes, as well as my soul :)

    Bye
    Alex

Oh, and shouldn’t you have a microphone or money to buy “professional” cds from the Internet, you can also use headphones to record your breath: just plug them in where you’d plug your microphone, and you’ll find that one headphone works in its same way. Try to speak into the headphone and you’ve done the trick.

    See you

    Hey everyone….

Sorry for not interacting with you’ll more timely and more frequently. Been very busy. I thought things would have slowed down at work…. but just the opposite happened.

Tariq – I truly appreciate your comment… thank you for the encouragement. I know that I should be doing the exercises more regularly (on a daily basis), but I have been quite busy lately and have become a bit demotivated.

With respect to the use of a lower prescription glasses… I just can’t seem to build up the courage to ask my optician. I guess I believe that she would start to ask some questions… and once I tell here what I am doing… she would discourage it.

Mike – thanks for your comment. Its a good observation that you are making. I would like to encourage you to have a healthy diet. This is one aspect that I have been good at.

Alex – you have been a frequent commentor on my blog… Thank you. thanks for the link.

Ola – like I indicated to Tariq…. I am getting a little bored of these exercises.

    Again, thank you all…
