Eye Exercises In The Morning, Afternoon and Night Time

April 30th, 2008 wmeng24 No comments

Since I started back on track with my eye exercise, I have been doing them about 3 times each day.

Firstly, I do them either as soon as I get up in the morning or as soon as reach to work. Then, I also do them just after lunch and once again just before going to bed.

I really hope I can keep it up.

I have also been encouraging my co-workers to continue with their exercises.

Back On Track With My Eye Exercises

April 24th, 2008 wmeng24 No comments

Wow! It has been a while since I’ve posted on this blog.

Well, the truth is I’ve been very delinquent in regard to doing the eye exercises… despite the slight improvement I experienced some time ago.

However, during the past several weeks, a couple of things happened which have led to the point where I see the need to continue with the eye exercises.

1/ One of my co-workers went and did an eye examination. I had inquired about the results and during our discussion she revealed that the optometrist indicated that her eyesight had gotten slightly worst, and that she should try doing some eye exercise to help prevent further deterioration!

2/ One day, again at the office, I accidentally noticed another co-worker staring at a pencil which he held in his had a short distance away. When I asked what he was doing, he indicated that his optometrist suggested that he do eye exercises… because he was slightly cross-eyed (technically referred to as esotropia)!

3/ Over the past few months, I have had cause to spend long hours at the computer… and while doing so, I have been disregarding the 10-10-10 rule. Because of this, I am sure that I have negated any improvements to my vision from the eye exercises.

Based on the above, I have realized a few things…

… Since eye exercises are being recommended by optometrist, it suggests that there is in fact some merit to natural vision improvement.

… Commitment and discipline are necessary to succeed with eye exercises. I can’t expect to not do the exercises and yet see results.

All in all, I have started back doing the exercises and I am going to try and be consistent.

If anyone has recommendations as to how to help me keep myself committed, I would greatly appreciate your comments.
